Rental Property Liaison
Part Time approx. 5 – 10 hours/week
Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Institute (MBCI) has an opportunity for a qualified person
to fill a position working as a liaison with rental tenants located at 81/83 Henderson
Hwy. MBCI is a Christ-centered middle and secondary school, equipping students to
learn, love, and engage with the world.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and organized Rental Property Liaison
to join our team. This individual will be responsible for assisting in performing landlord
duties for ongoing rentals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and
community engagement skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously. This position reports to the Director of Finance & Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a point of contact for tenants on the property
• Address tenant concerns and maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with MBCI Facilities Director
• Manage the alarm and security infrastructure
• Negotiate fair and equitable rental terms and agreements
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all rentals documentation
requirements
• Collaboratively develop an annual operating and capital budget with the Director
of Finance & Operations
Qualifications:
• Excellent organizational multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to respond to emergent needs on evenings and weekends as needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Commitment to the mission and values of MBCI
• A Christ-follower with active membership in a Christian church
