MBCI Weekend Rentals Assistant
Part Time
Position Overview: Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Institute (MBCI) has an opportunity
for a dynamic and organized individual to join our team working alongside the school’s
facility rentals staff providing event support for rental clients, approximately 8 – 10 hours
per weekend.
This dynamic individual will be responsible for attending to the needs of the school’s
rentals customers and requires excellent communication, organization and community
engagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This
position reports to the Director of Finance & Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Unlock the school’s facilities including its gymnasiums and concert hall and assist
with any setup requirements
• Clean the school’s facilities during (as may be needed) and after use by rental
customers
• Lock up the school’s facilities after rental events have concluded and ensure
buildings are fully secured
• Report any damage as a result of rental use to the Director of Finance &
Operations
Qualifications:
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours on weekends with some weekday evening hours
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Commitment to the mission and values of MBCI
• A Christ-follower with active membership in a Christian church
