The University of Winnipeg Collegiate invites applications for a .66 – .83 Tenure Track Band & Choir Instructor commencing September 3, 2024. Teaching duties will include Band 10/20S, Band 30/40S, Choir 10-40S, and Jazz Band 10-40S. This is a.66 FTE Collegiate position with possibility of increasing this to a .83 FTE with the addition of University Dual Credits in MusicAppreciation and Choral.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, certified teacher who has a strong background in Band, Choir and Music Arts.
The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience as outlined in the University of Winnipeg CollegiateCollective agreement. Instructors of The Collegiate are represented by the University of Winnipeg Faculty Association(Collegiate Unit). The appointment and employment of an Instructor is subject to the provisions of the UWFA (Collegiate)Collective Agreement which can be accessed on the University web-site at www.uwinnipeg.ca/index/hr-colagr
