- Exhibit a commitment to the use of differentiated and innovative instructional practices and tools that enhance deep, relevant and lifelong learning
- Incorporate a wide variety of assessment strategies in determining students’ achievement of curricular outcomes and provide effective feedback in both formative and summative forms
- Be receptive to guidance and support on holistic teaching pedagogy which is consistent with SNJM values and principles
- Mentor students to become strong and confident with the capacity to meet challenges and be contributing members and leaders in their community
- Foster student success in curricular areas, and through co-curricular and extra-curricular involvement
- Demonstrate meaningful participation in a professional growth and learning process for both short-term and long-term professional development
- Work in consultation and collaboration with other teachers to ensure program consistency and to explore topics that can be cross-curricular in nature
- Work in consultation and collaboration with student support team members to provide a program of excellence for all learners
- Maintain open lines of communication with families to ensure that we are all working in partnership on behalf of the learner
Position Overview
- Grades 7 – 10 French Communication & Culture (Basic French)
- Preferred minimum of three years’ experience in the aforementioned curricular areas
- Eligible for teaching certification in Manitoba
