Immaculate Heart of Mary School

Immaculate Heart of Mary School is a Ukrainian Catholic, Kindergarten to Grade 8, co-educational school. A nursery program (Sadochok) for 2, 3, and 4-year-olds operates at am alternate location.

The curriculum is in accordance with the regulations set out by the Department of Education and Training of the Province of Manitoba. There is a focus on Ukrainian cultural and religious development in song, Liturgy, language, and dance. Daily instruction in catechism and a Christian atmosphere permeate the school day. Instruction is provided in English with additional language classes in Ukrainian and French.

• The school offers an active sports and physical education program. Students participate in interscholastic basketball, volleyball, badminton, soccer and track and field.
• The students experience an exceptional performing arts program with opportunities in singing, instrumental (guitars, recorders, and Orff instruments), and drama.
• The latest in technology supports the learning experience for students with an iMac computer lab and iPads throughout the school.
• Student Services within the school include a Resource Teacher and Educational Assistants, with additional support provided by outside agencies.
• A before-school and after-school child care program is offered.

The School is a ministry of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate.
