The impact of independent schools in our province
Since 1974, the Manitoba Federation of Independent Schools has been the umbrella organization to represent the shared interests of Manitoba’s independent schools and a hub for families seeking choice, diversity and excellence in education. Today, MFIS represents 59 schools serving well over 16,500 students. MFIS’s work was recently acknowledged at the Manitoba Legislature.
